Wallan Olde Time Market
Wallan Scout Group is a not for profit youth organisation providing quality scouting for youth 6 to 26
1. General merchandise Stall Price $25 for 9 metre stall (approx car & trailer)
2. Stalls exceeding the specified length will be charged at a rate to be determined by the operator,
and specified on the document known as the Market Receipt.
3. Food stall $40 hot food of any type is by invitation only from the operator.
[must comply with Food Act registration}
4. Vehicle queuing starts from 0630 am at the northern drive in of the bus turn in High Street. [do
not block other driveway entrances to park, or private driveways. Observe all street parking signs.
5. Stall holder vehicles will be directed onto sites at first light or when the Market coordinator
deems it is safe to do so
6. No pets such as puppies dogs cats can be sold at a Market: Local laws apply
7. The market is controlled by the operator "Wallan Scout Group" the person in control is the Market
Coordinator or his deputy for the time being.
8. Any dispute is to directed to the Market Coordinator for resolution
9. The Market Coordinator has the sole discretion to remove any stall for non compliance with
general rules of admission
10. All stall holder rubbish including cardboard must be taken from site.
11. the Market operating times are first light to 1pm when vehicles are officially allowed to leave site.
12. all stalls must be off site by 3pm.
13. All stall merchandise must comply with Federal Trade Practises Act and must not contravene any
copyright.
14. All contracts of sale are made between the purchaser and the seller and the Market
Operator takes no responsibility for the product.
15. Any offence against any Federal, State or Local Law will be dealt by the Police or Local authority
16. Lost property can be handed to the Local Wallan Police Station or the Market coordinator
17. Permanent stalls are available, by invitation only from the operator of the market.
18. Permanent stall holders breaking any of the rules of occupation will have their permanent status
revoked.
